The David Oyedepo Foundation Scholarship for 2024 is now open for applications from African students who meet the criteria.
This scholarship allows students to attend Covenant University and Landmark University in Nigeria, two of the top universities in Africa known for excellent facilities and leadership training.
Scholarship Details:
The David Oyedepo Foundation Scholarship is a key part of the Foundation’s efforts to support education and leadership among African youth. It offers full scholarships to eligible students from African countries who wish to pursue their studies in Nigeria.
Scholarship Requirements:
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
- Be a citizen and live permanently in any African country.
- Be between the ages of 16 and 25 when you apply.
- Qualify for a Nigerian student visa.
- Be able to read, write, and speak English well.
- Have excellent secondary school grades, which include:
- Scoring at least 50 points above the JAMB cut-off points (only for Nigerians).
- An average of 80% or a 4.0 out of 5.0 GPA in your secondary school transcripts.
- You should have started your application process for admission to either Covenant or Landmark University.
What the Scholarship Covers:
The scholarship covers all academic fees for up to 5 years, depending on the normal duration of your chosen program.
Documents Needed:
You need to provide:
- Completed application form.
- Secondary school transcripts.
- WAEC results.
- Two letters of recommendation (one academic and one religious).
- Four essays of 500 words each on the following topics:
- Why do you need this scholarship?
- Why do you want to study your chosen course?
- What is your experience with leadership?
- Do you love your country?
