An Italian reporter, Rudy Galetti, mentioned that Osimhen, a highly regarded Nigerian player, is excited about joining Chelsea this summer. He moved to Napoli from Lille for about €75 million, but now he might cost between €120 million and €130 million because of his excellent performance in Naples.
Osimhen’s arrival could really help Chelsea, especially since they’ve had trouble scoring goals even after spending a lot on new players last summer.
However, there’s concern over financial regulations and whether Chelsea needs to sell some players before they can bring Osimhen in.
Chelsea is looking at their finances closely. They’re expected to share their financial details soon, which might show they’re just under the financial limit set by the league by £37 million. This suggests they’re managing their money well, but they’ll still face some financial challenges next season.
