Olukemi Niyi-Aluko, also known as Diva Gold, a famous skit maker and actress, has shared her view that having a best friend outside of a romantic relationship is not a good idea. She believes that involving someone else in your relationship can be harmful.
In an interview with Punch, she explained, “I definitely believe in true love. I have a lot of things I look for in a relationship. It’s crucial to really understand your partner and their actions. Your relationship should be built on friendship.
You shouldn’t have a best friend that’s not your partner. It’s okay to be curious about each other, but always keep respect. Be there for your partner, whether times are good or bad, and respect each other’s views, even if you don’t always agree.
