Al-Ahli has defeated Chelsea in the competition to sign Napoli’s attacking star, Victor Osimhen. Although the 2023/24 season was less memorable for the Nigerian striker, he still ended with 17 goals and four assists across all competitions. Despite being a key player for the Italian team and having two years left on his contract, Osimhen has been seeking a move away from the club since the summer began.
He is looking for a new challenge and has been linked with a move to Chelsea. The Blues want to bring in a world-class striker to lead their young attack, and Osimhen has been their top target from the start. While Chelsea was considering a swap deal involving Romelu Lukaku, the Italian club has reached a separate agreement to sign the Belgian striker.
