Ajuri Ngelale, the spokesperson for the President, has lavished praise on President Bola Tinubu, calling him a hardworking individual. He characterized Tinubu as someone who is “relentlessly devoted to the improvement of Nigeria.”

During an interview with Chude Jideonwo, which was released on Thursday, Ngelale highlighted Tinubu’s dedication. He pointed out that the President frequently works until the early hours of the morning, staying up until 2 am or 3 am, even on Sundays, in an effort to address the nation’s issues.

Ngelale stated, “I’m telling people to remain hopeful because I believe we will see improvements. I am working with a man who I can confidently say is committed, as he is awake and working at 2 am or 3 am every night, including Sundays.”

He further detailed, “Tinubu wakes up at 7 am to 8 am every morning, including Sundays. He starts his day early, opening his files and working late into the night, alone, regardless of whether he receives praise or criticism. He is putting in the effort.

“He is incredibly hardworking, and all his efforts are aimed at building a nation that mirrors the progressive, advanced, and prosperous society he envisions, much like what he achieved in Lagos.

“I urge all Nigerians to stand behind the president; his intentions are good.”

This portrayal of Tinubu by Ngelale is reminiscent of remarks made by Babatunde Fashola in April 2023.

Fashola, who had served under Tinubu as the Chief of Staff, remarked that “Tinubu does his best work in the dead of night.”

Fashola, with his experience, advised those working with the president that they should be prepared for night-time work schedules.
