Victor Osimhen

Victor Osimhen, the Super Eagles forward, has been given the green light by the team’s medical personnel to participate in the semi-final match against South Africa on Wednesday.

Due to abdominal pain, Osimhen did not accompany the Super Eagles on their journey from Abidjan to Bouaké on Monday evening. Babafemi Raji, the team’s media officer, reported that the medical staff closely monitored him, with one medical team member remaining in Abidjan to oversee his care.

Reports from Abidjan indicate that Victor is slated to rejoin his team in Bouake, having been medically cleared to play, and is anticipated to take part in the upcoming match.

Osimhen has been a key player in the Eagles’ successful campaign at the AFCON in Côte d’Ivoire, playing in all five matches, scoring once, and providing an assist for Ademola Lookman’s goal against Cameroon.
